Ecomaat are proud to produce vegan friendly products derived from only organic ingredients that conform to strict EU 834/2007 and USDA NOP guidelines. We offer a minimum of 95%* (*bees wax is not certified) with nearly all our products achieving 100% organic credentials and are considered of premium quality.
We are constantly asked what differentiates our products; the answer is very simple
- No chemicals are used - only the finest raw organic seeds,
- Only organic, ethical farming methods and harvesting processes.
- No GMO's or animal testing are employed in production simply pure ethical products.
None of the below have ever been / nor ever will be used or found in our products.
For your reference we have compiled a list of chemicals (whilst extensive it is by no means finite) to help guide and enable you to evaluate products that you are considering, so you can make your own qualified judgement and understand the real ingredients.
Please note that chemical names can and are often changed / altered to meet regulatory body designations.

Contaminants
Hidden carcinogens contaminating other chemicals e.g. dioxane highly potent carcinogen
1,4-Dioxane. In Ethoxylated Alcohols, including PEGs, Oleths, Polysorbates, Nonoxynol.
Arsenic and Lead. In Coal Tar Dyes, Polyvinyl Acetate, PEGs (polyethylene glycols).

Ethylene Oxide. In Ethoxylated Alcohols, including PEGs, Oleths, Polysorbates, Nonoxynol.
Formaldehyde. In Polyoxymethylene Urea.
Nitrosamine Precursors
Nitrosamines are highly carcinogenic. Nitrosamine precursors interact with other chemicals in the product to form nitrosamines.
